Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord to my family. Bongaigaon by the way is a place where there is Baptist and Lutheran mission organizations. So there is some kind of Christian presence. I was happy about that. Today was an interesting day due to the weather. Being in Assam we know about its rains. And I experienced the full brunt of it. As I started from Bongaigaon early morning I had to put on my raincoat. The intensity of the rain was more than torrential. It was accompanied with Lightening and thunderstorms. It was very difficult to pedal as the rain was so heavy that you couldn't even see the vehicles around you in the highway. I kept on praying for the Lord's protection. He was gracious and kept me safe. After some time I decided to halt at a place and a small boy with his school uniform came running to me. I asked him his name and I prayed for him. God chose him out of all the people to be prayed for. God knows everyone's heart. God dwells in me and where ever I go I take him with me. Today this little boy was blessed by God personally. Then I started riding again but after some time I had to take a halt again at a shop. The shop owner was gracious enough to take me to his home. Sometimes you are so touched by ordinary peoples generosity. The rain stopped to a certain extent and I profusely thanked them praying for them in my heart and started my journey again. I reached a place called Barpeta. Met quite a few people on the way. Prayed for them.

My final destination was Kalgachai which is about 14 kms from Barpeta. As I exited the highway this route was through village roads. There was practically nothing called as road just paths filled with gravel. It was very difficult to ride with a cycle with many potholes and water clogged areas. But God strengthened me. Another point to be noted was last night because there was no electricity in Bongaigaon I could not charge my mobile fully. So as I am riding through this village road I was also not sure how long my mobile charge would last. A recently converted Hindi guy was my contact in Kalgachia and he is employed as a compounder in this Barpeta civil hospital. He was with me on the phone guiding me to the hospital. To conserve battery in the mobile I kept on asking people on the way the direction to the hospital. Finally by God's grace I reached the place. Met this very nice gentleman. He doesn't know much of the bible and probably is the only flicker of light in this dark place spiritually. Its predominantly a Muslim area. Please pray that this man grows spiritually to plant a church here. Communication with him is difficult because of my broken hindi and he cannot understand English. He has asked me to speak to a few people here and conduct a prayer meeting. Praying that the holy spirit will anoint me to do his works inspire of the language barriers. They have a one room home and he has given me a corner with a bed. I am grateful to have a place to stay. They don't even have in-house toilet facilities. I have to use the hospital toilet which is nearby if needed. As brother Paul says I have learnt to be content in want or in abundance as part of my prayer journey. I have read several biographies of foreign missionaries who came to India. When I read about their experiences my hardship is nothing compared to what they

endured in that Era with less technology.

Everytime thinking about their perseverance and my blessed Lord's calling keeps me going. I have not mentioned this kind gentleman's mane because I don't want him to be in trouble in any way. But God has written his kindness in the book of remembrance in heaven as mentioned in the book of Malachi. Hoping to have blessed meeting among nonbelievers tonight. Keep me in your prayers as always. Tomorrow's mercy will be new in the Lord. God bless you abundantly for standing with me.
